Forging Press for Making Crusher Tooth Plates
This hydraulic press for forging crusher tooth plates is a heavy-duty forging equipment designed specifically for the production of wear-resistant parts for mining machinery. Through a high-pressure static extrusion process, it significantly improves the internal density and surface wear resistance of the tooth plates.
Description
This hydraulic forging press for making crusher tooth plates adopts an integral frame or prestressed tie rod combination structure, possessing extremely high structural rigidity and resistance to eccentric loads, capable of withstanding the enormous instantaneous impact forces during tooth plate forming.
- Core Functions: The equipment integrates a hydraulic power system, a precision control system, and a quick-change mold system. Its main function is to apply directional high pressure to metal billets (usually high-manganese steel or alloy steel), causing them to undergo plastic deformation within the mold cavity, thus forming crusher tooth plates with precise geometric shapes in a single operation.
- Structural Components: Includes a main hydraulic cylinder, a moving worktable, an ejector device, an automatic lubrication system, and a PLC-based digital operation terminal.

Advantages of PDH’s Forging Press for Making Crusher Tooth Plates
1. Superior Mechanical Performance
Compared to traditional cast tooth plates, tooth plates forged by this press have finer internal grains and more complete and continuous metal flow lines. This results in a 30%-50% increase in wear resistance during actual crushing operations, effectively extending the spare parts replacement cycle.
2. High-Precision Servo Hydraulic Control
Utilizing servo proportional control technology, it achieves micron-level precise control of pressure, displacement, and speed. The equipment supports multi-stage pressing process settings, ensuring consistent weight and dimensional tolerances for each tooth plate, significantly reducing subsequent machining processes.
3. Energy Saving, Noise Reduction, and Intelligent Operation
Equipped with a high-response servo motor-driven pump control system, power is output only during the pressing stage, reducing standby energy consumption by over 40%. The intelligent human-machine interface supports real-time storage of process parameters and self-diagnosis of faults, greatly improving the factory’s digital management level.
4. Robust anti-eccentric load design
Given that toothed plates are often asymmetrical, the equipment enhances the guide length and precision of the slider, effectively preventing damage from external forces caused by eccentric loads and maximizing mold life.

Production Process of Forging Crusher Tooth Plates
The standard process flow for producing crusher tooth plates using a hydraulic forging press is as follows:
- Bill Preparation: High-manganese steel or alloy steel bars are cut to a precise ratio.
- Induction Heating: The billet is heated to the initial forging temperature (e.g., 1050°C – 1150°C) using a medium-frequency furnace.
- Automatic Feeding: A robotic arm precisely places the red-hot billet into the mold cavity of the press.
- Pre-pressing and Forming: The main cylinder of the hydraulic press drives the slide block to descend rapidly, switching to high-pressure forging.
- Pressure Holding and Trimming: A certain pressure is maintained to ensure full metal filling, followed by online trimming.
- Ejection and Discharge: The hydraulic ejector cylinder at the bottom ejects the finished product, which is then conveyed to the heat treatment area by a conveyor belt.
Applications of Crusher Tooth Plates Forging Presses
This series of forging presses is widely used in the production bases of spare parts for various heavy mining machinery:
- Jaw Crusher: Production of fixed tooth plates (stationary jaw) and movable tooth plates (moving jaw).
- Cone Crusher: Forging of high-stress wear-resistant parts such as the mantle and crusher wall.
- Hammer Crusher: Manufacturing hammers and liners for high-ratio impact loads.
- Construction Machinery: Large load-bearing components such as excavator bucket teeth and track plates.
