Plastic Pallet Forming Hydraulic Press
A hydraulic press for plastic pallets is a machine specifically designed to produce them. It uses a hydraulic system to squeeze waste plastic into a lump within a mold, then applies high pressure to form the final product. Description
There are many types of plastic pallets, including flat pallets, mesh pallets, nine-legged plastic pallets, and “Chuan”-shaped plastic pallets. Plastic pallets are produced using a composite-molding press (four-column or frame type). They offer advantages such as high strength, load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, and resistance to aging. This low-cost, environmentally friendly production process has been widely used to make plastic pallets.
Plastic pallet hydraulic presses of varying tonnages and structures are used depending on the size of the plastic pallet. Commonly used are three-beam and four-column hydraulic presses, as well as frame-type hydraulic presses. Standard machine capacities include 315, 500, 630, 800, 1000, 1250, and 1500 tons. The following example features a four-column, 800-ton plastic pallet-forming press with a 1700 x 1500 mm table and a stroke of 800 mm.

Plastic Pallet Molding Hydraulic Press Structure
- Overall Structure: The 800-ton plastic pallet molding hydraulic press utilizes a three-beam, four-column structure. This design provides overall stability, while the four-column guides ensure precise mold clamping. The press body is constructed entirely of CO2-welded steel plates, which undergo post-welding tempering and vibration treatment to prevent deformation. The upper slide beam, slider, and worktable are also welded from high-quality steel plates and subjected to vibration aging to eliminate internal stress.
- Columns and Guide Columns: The columns are constructed from high-quality 45# steel. The four columns undergo medium-frequency quenching and hard chrome plating to enhance their hardness and wear resistance. The guide columns and piston rod are also subjected to medium-frequency quenching and hard chrome plating.
- Control System: The hydraulic press utilizes a PLC control system, enabling manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic operation. This control system ensures ease of operation, high control accuracy, energy efficiency, and noise reduction.

The Process for Molding Plastic Pallets:
- Waste mixing: Mixing waste plastic with a mixing agent.
- Blanking: Extruding the mixed waste plastic into a pelletized material through an extruder.
- Molding: Placing the pelletized material into a mold using a hydraulic press and applying a certain pressure.
- Solidification and cooling: After holding the pressure for a specific period, the product is cooled and formed.
- Demolding: After cooling, the product is demolded to obtain a plastic pallet.
- Appearance modification: Edge trimming and external appearance repairs are performed on the finished product.
- Inspection and storage: After passing inspection, the product is stored.
